Line Cook
Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 an hour
About the role
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring timely and accurate food service. Ideal candidates are team players with a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Schedule
Part-time, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to store recipes.
- Prepare food quickly and in a safe manner.
- Follow all food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Stock and prep ingredients for daily use.
- Keep kitchen equipment clean and organized.
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.

Physical Environment
- Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand for most of the shift with repetitive motions including bending, twisting, and moving quickly during busy hours.
- Must be comfortable working in a warm kitchen.
