About the role
We are seeking a passionate Line Cook who can deliver a great culinary experience to every guest. With line cook experience in a full service restaurant, you understand the dedication required to ensure every plate leaves the kitchen with excellence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare multiple dishes quickly and accurately in a well-organized manner
- Combine recipe knowledge, cooking technique, consistency, and timeliness to make each meal memorable
- Exhibit commitment to embodying FGR values
- Achie exceptional product knowledge
- Show good to advanced knife skills
- Be punctual, timely, and responsible
- Possess superior communication skills
- Present a clean and well-groomed appearance
- Have sound and mature judgment
- Lift up to 15 lbs on a regular and continuing basis
- Push, pull, lift or carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Use and operate all necessary equipment
Requirements
- Constant standing and walking
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crawling
- Occasional ascending or descending of ladders, stairs, and ramps
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing and rotation of the spine, elbows, and wrists
- Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken words
- Manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
