Line Cook

About the role

The Hilton Mystic is seeking a line cook to join their culinary team. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock all food stations with necessary supplies
• Prep all needed food items for service
• With the help of kitchen staff, properly execute menu items
• Ensure all food is made in a timely fashion and in high quality
• Certify that all nutrition and sanitation regulations are maintained

Requirements

• Professional culinary experience, with a minimum 2 years grill and sauté experience required
• A high school diploma or equivalent required, with a culinary degree preferred
• A clear understanding of menu items
• A strong knowledge of various cooking methods, food items, equipment, etc.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume kitchen environment

Qualifications

• Continuous reaching, bending, lifting, carrying
• Standing and being on foot for the majority of the scheduled shift

Skills

• Professional culinary experience
• Clear understanding of menu items
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, food items, equipment, etc.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume kitchen environment
