Role Summary

Cinemark Line Cooks prepare quality food in a fast-paced environment, ensuring freshness and accuracy for movie-goers. They play a crucial role in enhancing the movie-going experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all required items in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls
• Fulfills prep lists daily
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of all food products
• Minimizes food waste and theft
• Collaborates with server teams to ensure accurate food orders
• Cleans food preparation area and equipment after each use
• Opens or closes a workstation (depending on scheduled shift)
• Wears proper Cinemark culinary attire
• Achieves standard operating procedures and maintains safety and sanitation
• Consistently wipes down and sanitizes high-contact areas
• Utilizes Personal Protective Equipment appropriately
• Adapts to cleaning tasks as needed
• Maintains awareness of safety and security issues
• Reports issues to management
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains necessary certifications
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Regular and consistent attendance required
• Energetic and friendly attitude
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Responds with a sense of urgency

Physical And Environmental Requirements

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
• Noise level may be moderate to high
• Standing for extended periods of time
