Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food items using approved recipes and production standards
- Ensure proper food quality, portioning, and serving temperatures
- Follow daily production sheets to maintain proper quantities and minimize waste
- Monitor and document food safety and quality parameters
- Take and record temperatures of ready-to-eat products (HACCP compliance)
- Follow all Food Safety Plans (HACCP) and GMP requirements
- Operate kitchen equipment and appliances according to company policies
- Store food properly to prevent spoilage and maintain safe temperatures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Identify and report quality or safety concerns to supervisors
- Support other departments as needed within the manufacturing facility
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in food manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Understanding of cooking methods and food preparation procedures
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
