Full-Time AM/PM – Sunday/Monday: 5:30am-2pm & Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 12pm-8:30pm
Part-Time PM – Saturday/Sunday/Monday: 12pm-8:30pm
Part-Time PM – Friday/Saturday: 12p-8:30pm
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals from scratch according to assigned recipe specifications and quality standards
- Follow recipes, manage portion control and ensure attractive plate presentation
- Properly manage cook times while preparing and efficiently managing several orders simultaneously
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen ensuring compliance with regulations, policies and procedures
- Follow checklists and company procedures to ensure kitchen is stocked and well maintained at all times
- Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in a high volume restaurant setting
- Proven success with basic Culinary skills such as knife handling, accurate measurements and cooking methods
- Able to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
Skills
- Strong knife skills
- Experience preparing multiple menu items to recipe standards
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- The ability to manage multiple priorities during meal service while delivering exceptional hospitality
