About the Role

Produce and maintain the quality of menu items assigned to your station according to the company's menu recipes and specifications. Ensure the company's safety, sanitation, and food standards are met according to recipes, procedures, quality, and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure station is ready to work at scheduled time and you are in proper uniform
• Maintain a brisk and steady pace, staying organized with no unnecessary steps
• Adhere to recipes 100% when prepping or assisting with any other production step
• Use scales, measuring spoons, recipe cards, and perform portion control tests
• Maintain the kitchen and all equipment in "like new" condition; practice clean-as-you-go
• Meet productivity standards measured by both quality and quantity of work completed in a specific time period
• Demonstrate strong organization skills and think ahead to stock supplies before rushes
• Exhibit teamwork and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all OSHA guidelines
• Follow safe food handling practices
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and stocking food
• Provide prep support as needed

Requirements

• 2 years of work or related experience preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance fluctuating workload
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and ability to take initiative
• Responsible behavior and professional image
• Positive attitude and commitment to safe food handling and safety
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
