Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO)

Role: Radiologic Technical Assistant (RTA) performs limited radiology procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist, utilizing independent judgment and technical skills to ensure accurate radiologic diagnosis. Responsibilities: Execute various technical procedures, prioritize patient care, and assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures. Apply prescribed ionizing radiation safely and effectively, demonstrating ingenuity and initiative. Maintain high-quality standards and support the healthcare team in diagnostic imaging. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Enrolled in or completing a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program. Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous. Must hold a valid state X-Ray operator license. Key Duties: Operate radiology equipment, perform procedures independently, recognize the purpose of employment to prioritize patient safety, and uphold quality standards in imaging services.
