Limited Scope Radiology Technologist

Role Overview Seeking a Limited Scope Radiographer responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a family practice outpatient clinic. The role involves ensuring accurate, safe, and patient-centered imaging procedures while maintaining communication, comfort, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients, verify orders, and ensure proper identification.Explain procedures, address questions, and provide compassionate care to reduce anxiety.Perform radiologic exams on chest, extremities, and spine with attention to positioning, equipment use, and radiation safety protocols.Respond appropriately to emergent situations and ensure accurate documentation of images and patient data.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, supporting effective team communication and patient care coordination.Engage in ongoing education to stay current with procedures and equipment advancements. Qualifications & Skills Licensure as a Practical Radiologic Technologist or ARRT Board Registry Eligible.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Competency in imaging the chest, extremities, and spine.Strong anatomy knowledge, equipment operation skills, effective communication, and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to see, read, and manipulate equipment accurately.Manual dexterity for equipment handling and patient transfers.Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and assisting patients.Capable of driving if necessary, navigating busy environments, and responding swiftly during emergencies.
