Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Administer medications and treatments as permitted by New York State regulations and facility policy.
- Monitor residents' condition and promptly report changes.
- Accurately document care provided in the electronic medical record.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident assessments.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
- Current New York State Limited Permit to practice as an LPN.
- Eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN examination.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn.
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required.
