About the role

Sport Ortho Urgent Care is an outpatient practice that is part of a comprehensive orthopedic model. The practice is committed to offering an innovative experience to patients by having an integrated approach with a team of providers, including Orthopedic Physician Assistants and Physical Therapists. The position is a Limited Scope X‑Ray Tech or Radiologic Technologist in an outpatient orthopedics setting, performing both XR and Medical Assistant responsibilities as part of a collaborative, patient‑centered team. Full‑scope or limited‑scope applicants are welcome, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Position equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance per specifications.
• Take x‑rays following established radiologic requirements and safety standards.
• Provide overall support for providers and daily clinic operations.
• Assist with scheduling, answer multi‑line phones, and process referrals.
• Administer injections, apply bracing, casting, and durable medical equipment.

Requirements

• Tennessee X‑Ray Operator License (required).
• ARRT Certification.
