Lil Coasters Childcare Associate
About the Role

The Lil Coasters Team cares for our staff children by providing a safe and nurturing environment, where kids learn about the love of Jesus, grow skills in basic and introductory preschool concepts, and develop friendships and social skills.
This part-time position reports to the Lil Coasters & MTP Childcare Manager and involves a classroom assignment for preschool-aged children (Ages 3–5).
Schedule
Part-time, 20-25 hours per week. Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-1:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the safety and security of children in your care.
- Act as a positive role model and treat each child with dignity and respect.
- Engage children in classroom activities, including Bible story time, crafts, worship songs, free play, games, or other age-appropriate activities.
- Provide a clean and healthy environment for kids, following all safety policies and procedures.
- Report all concerns regarding child or parent behaviors to the Childcare Coordinator.
- Greet parents and build trust and rapport by developing relationships with the children.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize toys, chairs, tables, and floors after use.
Requirements
- Christ follower (as a religious organization, Seacoast Church makes hiring decisions aligned with our faith and beliefs).
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some weekday, weeknight, weekend, and/or holiday shifts while maintaining good attendance and punctuality.
- Passion for caring for children and ability to relate well to both kids and adults.
- Must be able to lift, hold, and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to appropriately handle stressful situations.

Background Checks
Applicants must authorize and consent to national and local criminal biographical searches, state sexual offender searches, credit file checks, and motor vehicle checks when applicable. This includes, but is not limited to, searches conducted by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other necessary agencies.
