With innovative DER and minor repairs, we help our customers extend component life, reduce costs, and keep operations moving.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components.
- Work to ensure that customer orders are completed within the Repair Group's standards and procedures.
- Assist with training new technicians and may coordinate work of other technicians.
- Trained on most units in the Department.
- Troubleshoot independently and understand all customer and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with the operations policy and procedure, including daily verification that all aircraft related material in area is properly identified, maintained, preserved, and segregated.
- Ensure the data being used to perform maintenance and alteration tasks is current per the repair station requirements.
- Record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
- Assist the Supervisor as directed in the area of employee training and records keeping as required by the regulations and as needed to assure quality job production.
- Perform the necessary research to assure that technical data and manuals are current and appropriate for associated tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two years' related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Capable of training other technicians in all aspects of departmental processes.
