Our team specializes in Communication, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical Accessory, and Lighting systems-critical components that keep aircraft flying safely and efficiently. With innovative DER and minor repairs, we help our customers extend component life, reduce costs, and keep operations moving.

Responsibilities

  • Trained on most units in the Department.
  • Troubleshoot independently and understands all customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with the operations policy and procedure, including daily verification that all aircraft related material in area is properly identified, maintained, preserved, and segregated.
  • Ensure the data being used to perform maintenance and alteration tasks is current per the repair station requirements.
  • Record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
  • Assist the Supervisor as directed in the area of employee training and records keeping as required by the regulations and as needed to assure quality job production.
  • Perform the necessary research to assure that technical data and manuals are current and appropriate for associated tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prefer some related college courses, certificate or associate degree.
  • Minimum two years' related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Capable of training other technicians in all aspects of departmental processes.

Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of operations policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain and preserve aircraft-related materials.
  • Proficiency in using technical data and manuals.
