Lighting Panels Production Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our Lighting Panel team. This position will be based in Spartanburg, SC.

Shift Hours

Mon-Thu: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm; Friday: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm

Hourly Rate

$24.20

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ year of working experience
• Able to use measurement equipment
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to meet physical requirements including walking 1/4 mile within 7 minutes, lifting up to 38 lbs., sustaining trunk flexion for up to 1.5 minutes, and sustaining unilateral grip of at least 26 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Excel

What You Will Do

• Assemble products according to standard procedures
• Utilize SAP data management system, read and interpret documents associated with mechanical assembly assignments
• Perform assembly operations and utilize measuring instrumentation to ensure proper placement of components in specified relationship to each other; bolt, screw or fasten parts using hand tools or powered tools
• Complete 100% inspection in area of responsibility to ensure wiring and all parts are in place and secured
• Test and adjust if necessary. Prepare finished units for shipping (e.g. packing, sealing, labeling, etc.)
• Detect, report and document unusual conditions, defective material or specific problems related to quality, safety and delivery
• Work in a team, multi-task, cross-train and perform within production requirements
• Perform other work as directed by Supervision

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $24.20 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
