Stantec's Lighting Design group offers talented professionals the opportunity to transform visions into designs that illuminate some of the most impressive buildings in the world. We are looking to add a lighting designer with 0‑4 years of experience to our award‑winning Lighting Design group.

Responsibilities

• Work on lighting designs
• Luminaire selection
• Lighting controls
• Energy code compliance
• All aspects of lighting design and documentation

Requirements

• 0‑4 years of experience in lighting design (recent graduate or emerging professional)
• Passion for design, sustainability, and creative problem solving
• Self‑starter who enjoys working collaboratively alongside other creative minds and problem solvers

Pay

Pay Range:

• Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ, VA Areas: $60,700.00 – $85,000.00 Annually
• Locations in WA, DC & Various CA, MA, VA Areas: $65,100.00 – $91,200.00 Annually

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Schedule

This position will be hybrid with at least 3‑days per week in person. Office location could be in Austin, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle or Denver. Employment status: Regular, Full‑time.
