Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain project workflow
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues as they arise
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on all project sites
  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met
  • Support the Project Manager in evaluating subcontractor performance and managing contracts
  • Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and bids

Profile

  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Project Manager
  • Experience with industrial, warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing construction projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, and project administration
  • Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control principles
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is preferred
