Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain project workflow
- Prepare and review project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports
- Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues as they arise
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on all project sites
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met
- Support the Project Manager in evaluating subcontractor performance and managing contracts
- Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and bids
Profile
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Project Manager
- Experience with industrial, warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, and project administration
- Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and cost control principles
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is preferred
