Light Duty-EV Technician - 6 PM Starting Shift

Prestige Fleet Services is expanding into Rivian electric vehicle service and support and premasters. We are seeking a highly skilled technician with a strong diesel and automotive background who is ready to transition into EV technology. This role will focus heavily on servicing Rivian fleet vehicles, requiring precision, safety awareness, and a commitment to continuous learning. What You’ll Do Diagnose, service, and repair Rivian electric vehicles and systems Perform high-voltage system diagnostics and repairs (battery systems, inverters, drive units) Follow all Rivian and EV-specific safety protocols including PPE and lockout/tagoutPerform traditional mechanical repairs when applicable (suspension, brakes, HVAC)Complete preventive maintenance and inspections for EV fleetsUtilize diagnostic software and tablets for work orders and system updatesMaintain accurate documentation of all repairs and diagnosticsManage mobile service inventory and parts sourcing What You’ll Need To Have 3+ years of diesel and/or automotive repair experienceBasic to intermediate electrical knowledgeStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsSafety-first mindsetAbility to work independently in a mobile environmentValid Driver’s LicenseMust supply own toolsRivian EV certification (highly preferred) Experience working with electric or hybrid vehiclesExperience working on Dodge Promasters preferredOther EV or high-voltage certifications a plusCDL (a plus)Welding or fabrication experienceDiesel tehcnican experience a plus1 year expereince performing PMs and DOT inspections Training & Development Must be willing to complete Rivian and EV certification training upon hireOngoing training in EV diagnostics, safety, and software systemsGrowth opportunities into advanced EV diagnostic roles Working Conditions Mobile/outdoor work environmentExposure to various weather conditionsPhysical requirements consistent with technician roles What We Offer You First and second shifts availableHealth, Dental and Vision PlansFSA and HSA optionsVarious life insurance optionsSupplemental insurance plans401K with company matchPaid time off Salary information $30 - $35/hr. - pay is commensurate with experience Prestige Fleet Services is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer, and is committed to providing employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, age, color, national origin, ethnicity, creed, religion, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and expression, marital status, pregnancy, or veteran status.
