About the Role

PIVOT POINT INC., a manufacturer of non-threaded fasteners in Hustisford, WI, is seeking a Full Time 1st Shift Float to combine Light Assembly and Lower Dock Assistant responsibilities based on workload needs.

Schedule

Full time, 1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30am-3pm, plus overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up various pneumatic and hydraulic presses.
• Hand assemble metal fastener parts according to blueprints and shop orders, ensuring proper dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate company truck and other material handling equipment to move parts within the facility and load/unload parts from vendor trucks.
• Manually and mechanically assemble pins, lanyards, rings, and other metal parts.
• Maintain expected production rates.
• Read simple blueprints and QC sheets for product specifications.
• Engage in excellent housekeeping and safety practices.
• Work effectively as a team member and independently, making knowledgeable decisions.

Requirements

• Good driving record and forklift driving experience.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity with small parts.
• Experience with Material Handling or Shipping/Receiving.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and perform physical tasks in Shipping/Lower Dock.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.

Qualifications

• Solid, long-term, consistent work history.
• Recent Manufacturing Assembly experience.
• Material Handling experience.

Pay

Starts at $19-21 per hour, based on experience.
