Lift Technician

About the role

This position is Part Time and will work 8-hour, variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and transports patients, equipment, and products throughout the medical center in a safe and efficient manner.
• Safely performs complex patient lifts/transfers, including competent handling of multiple lines, ventilators, traction devices, etc., in coordination with the patient care team.
• Acts as first responder/assistant/runner for code situations, including code triage both internally and externally.

Requirements

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of Transportation Orderly Training.
• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of Slip Mat Training.
• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of Customer Service Orientation.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Work related experience, preferably as a Transportation Orderly.

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
