Lift Engineer (Service & Call Out) – North Wales & North West

About the role
You’ll carry out planned servicing, routine maintenance, and breakdown response, primarily on commercial lifts. Wherever possible, your service route will be close to where you live, with wider regional coverage out of hours during your on-call week. Working with our in-house technology and support teams, you’ll play an important role in keeping lifts safe, reliable, and operating efficiently for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned servicing and routine maintenance on commercial lifts
- Respond to breakdown calls and provide timely repairs
- Cover local routes during standard hours and regional coverage during on-call weeks
- Collaborate with in-house technology and support teams to diagnose faults and reduce downtime
- Maintain professional and reliable customer relationships
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Lift Service Engineer
- NVQ Level 3 Lift Servicing & Repair, LEIA modules, or equivalent (or working towards)
- Full UK driving licence

Pay
Starting salary in the region of £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day with flexible start/finish times (e.g., 7am–3:30pm, 8am–4:30pm, 8:30am–5pm, or 9am–5:30pm)
- Core hours of 10am–3pm
- 1 in 4 weeks on-call rota (£250 standby payment, plus enhanced call-out rate)
