About the role

A NorthBay Health Lift Coach/Transport Technician assists healthcare workers in proper lifting and transferring techniques, ensuring patient and caregiver safety.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach staff on reducing injury risks and safe lifting practices.
• Provide timely and efficient transport of patients between departments.

Requirements

• Current AHA or equivalent BLS card.
• Great verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Lifting weights in excess of 50 lbs.
• Scheduled based on business need.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Healthcare-related background preferred (allied nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy).
• Previous patient handling or lifting experience beneficial.
