Lifestyle Host (Sport Animator)
About the role
Responsible for co-ordination and scheduling of guest’s activity, developing Yoga program and to ensure smooth and efficient communications with hosts and guests by providing efficient service in all secretarial and reservations functions.
Ensure all dealings with guests at the Fitness areas to meet or exceed the resort operating standards.
Ensure all vicinity areas are kept clean and well maintained at all times.
Ensure the guest experience is relaxing and in accordance with the resort standards.
Able to promote and sell all programs (classes, activities, retail sale & service) to groups, conference, guests walk-in etc.
Able to upsell and cross sell all programs.
Able to implement and monitor up-selling strategies to maximise operational revenue.
Able to analyse and interpret the needs of guest and offer appropriate options, solutions and resolutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop Yoga program and ensure smooth and efficient communications with hosts and guests.
- Schedule and coordinate guest activities.
- Ensure fitness areas meet or exceed resort operating standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of vicinity areas.
- Ensure guest experience is relaxing and in line with resort standards.
- Promote and sell all programs (classes, activities, retail sale & service).
- Upsell and cross-sell programs.
- Implement and monitor up-selling strategies to maximize operational revenue.
- Analyse and interpret guest needs and provide appropriate options, solutions and resolutions.
Requirements
- College diploma or equivalent qualifications
- Certification in massage therapy or aesthetics from a recognized school
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory position in a related field
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel & Word
- Past experience of working in the Maldives
Qualifications
