Schedule & Pay

  • Part-time: 20 hours per week (4 days, including Saturday, Sunday, and weeknights)
  • Pay: $16.00/hour

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate well-being and recreational lifestyle enrichment as assigned in treatment plans or activity schedules, under the direction of the Well-Being Director.
  • Obtain and interpret information considering the age-specific needs of residents.
  • Promote an environment supporting all aspects of well-being: physical, social, emotional, vocational, intellectual, environmental, and spiritual.
  • Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs within the facility.
  • Oversee residents engaged in scheduled enrichment to promote holistic well-being.
  • Ensure activity care plans are used as tools for daily lifestyle enrichment.
  • Assist the Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator with developing and executing activity calendars, including flexible scheduling for evenings and weekends.
  • Provide ongoing lifestyle enrichment (both group and self-directed).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in activities preferred.
  • Professional experience with geriatric residents in a personal care home preferred.
  • Background or experience as a musician, artist, or other creative professional is a plus.
