- Every other weekend
- 9 am–2 pm or 10 am–3 pm
Pay
$15.50 per hour
About the Role
The Lifestyle Enrichment Professional facilitates Well-being and recreational activities as outlined in treatment plans or the activity schedule under the direction of the Well-Being Director. You will interpret information with consideration for the age-specific needs of residents and promote an environment that supports all aspects of Well-being: physical, social, emotional, vocational, intellectual, environmental, and spiritual.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the facility’s activity programs.
- Oversee residents engaged in scheduled enrichment to promote physical, social, vocational, emotional, and intellectual well-being.
- Ensure all activity care plans are used as tools in providing daily Lifestyle Enrichment for residents.
- Assist the Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator with developing and executing activity calendars, including flexible scheduling for coverage (evenings and weekends as assigned).
- Provide ongoing Lifestyle Enrichment (both group and self-directed).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
- Minimum one year of Activities experience preferred.
- Professional experience with geriatric residents in a Personal Care Home preferred.
- Background or experience as a musician, artist, or other creative professional is a plus, as these skills can enhance resident engagement and support meaningful lifestyle enrichment programming.
