Full-time position assisting with recreational, cultural, travel, and entertainment programs designed to enrich the quality of life for residents and prospective homebuyers. Responsibilities include program development, event scheduling, and promotion to enhance community vibrancy.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement resident programs, presentations, and special community-wide events, soliciting input from residents to ensure participation and awareness.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement trips, shows, concerts, parties, activities, and celebrations, including negotiating rates for tickets, travel, and entertainment.
- Handle collection and disbursement of fees for events as applicable.
- Oversee promotion of all activities, events, and trips, including gathering feedback and addressing objectives.
- Plan and coordinate fundraisers for local charitable organizations, annual expos, garage sales, and recreational events with Senior Games.
- Work closely with all Association Departments to ensure proper setup and execution of events.
- Maintain reservations to ensure adequate enrollment for event success.
- Recruit sponsors for events.
- Coordinate the development of the Association newsletter with the Communications Committee.
- Oversee an active volunteer program, including recognition events such as a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.
- Assist with other duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in an HOA environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher).
- Experience with general office equipment (copy machine, fax, postage machine, etc.).
- Ability to keyboard at 50 words per minute.
- Strong time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects while exercising independent judgment.
- Intermediate skills in mathematics, spelling, and English writing.
- Pleasant telephone voice with clear and concise pronunciation.
- Strong internal and external customer relation skills for effective communication with management, employees, homeowners, and stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy.
- Effective calendar management and follow-up skills.
- Professional or business image per policy.
- Ability to handle shifting priorities and deadlines efficiently.
- Ability to operate equipment as defined by the position.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees and clients at all organizational levels.
Pay
$24.00 per hour.
Schedule
Regular business hours with overtime as needed.
Working Environment
The Lifestyle Assistant works in a well-lighted, clean office environment, interacting frequently with others and handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously. The Association maintains a smoke-free environment in its offices, buildings, and Clubhouse complex.
