Responsibilities

• Keep swimmers safe, respond to emergencies, and ensure a positive pool environment
• Deliver excellent customer service to members and guests
• Report any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to your supervisor
• Follow all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in facilities and programs, including monitoring and supervision of children
• Report any suspicious behavior and violation of policy and procedures to your supervisor
• Complete all child abuse prevention training as required

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years old
• Physical ability to perform water rescues
• Willingness to complete lifeguard and CPR training (provided by us)

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Previous lifeguarding experience preferred; experience in a customer service role or similar environment

Skills

• Strong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues
• Knowledge of CPR, First Aid, and AED usage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills

Pay

Starting at $18.00/hour

Schedule

Monday‑Friday during the mid‑day hours (12 pm‑5 pm)
