About the role

We are seeking a Lifeguard II to join our team. The Lifeguard II is responsible for providing lifeguarding services at our aquatic facility, including but not limited to:

• Monitoring pool areas for swimmers and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Providing first aid and CPR as necessary
• Assisting with pool maintenance and cleaning
• Communicating with staff and patrons regarding pool usage and safety

Responsibilities

The Lifeguard II will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Reporting any incidents or concerns to management immediately
• Participating in regular training and drills to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

• Have a valid lifeguard certification
• Be able to swim proficiently
• Pass a background check
• Be available to work weekends and evenings

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience working in a similar role
• Previous experience with CPR and first aid
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Pay

Salary range for this position is $25 - $30 per hour.

Schedule

The Lifeguard II will work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
