About the role
We are seeking a Lifeguard I to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide lifeguarding services at our aquatic facility, ensuring the safety of all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool area for signs of distress or danger
- Respond promptly to emergencies and perform CPR if necessary
- Ensure proper usage of pool equipment and facilities
- Communicate effectively with patrons and staff
- Perform routine maintenance tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- Ability to swim proficiently
- Good communication skills
- Physical fitness and stamina
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Previous lifeguarding experience preferred
Skills
- First aid and CPR certification
- Swimming proficiency
