About the role

We are seeking a Lifeguard I to join our team. The primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and well-being of patrons at our facility. Duties include:

• Monitoring pool areas for potential hazards and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Responding promptly to emergencies and providing first aid as necessary.
• Assisting swimmers who require assistance and maintaining a calm and welcoming environment.
• Ensuring proper lifeguard training and certification are maintained.

Responsibilities

The Lifeguard I will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a safe and clean pool area.
• Monitoring pool activities and ensuring all rules and regulations are being followed.
• Providing first aid and CPR as needed.
• Communicating effectively with other staff members and patrons.
• Reporting any issues or concerns to management.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

• Have a valid lifeguard certification.
• Be able to swim proficiently.
• Pass a background check.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience working in a similar role.
• Previous experience with CPR and first aid.
• A strong commitment to customer service.

Pay

Salary range: $20 - $25 per hour.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 4 hours long and occur Monday through Friday, with additional evening and weekend shifts available.
