What's involved?
Ensure pool safety in the water and on the pool deck by providing direction and assistance in a variety of situations.

Requirements
- 16 years of age or older
- Ability to swim free-style / crawl stroke
- Red Cross Certification (provided by The Alaska Club)
- Weekend availability (preferred)
Working Conditions
- Supervising patrons in pool during open swim, lap swim, swim lessons, and water aerobics
- Supporting fellow Lifeguards and cooperating as a team
- Standing and moving on deck and in pool
Testing Requirements
- 3 laps (untimed)
- 2 min. tread water
- Brick retrieval
