Lifeguard

About the role

The Swift Creek Family YMCA-(Hampton Park) is seeking a part‑time lifeguard to be an enthusiastic community member who helps save lives and ensures the safety of patrons at the pool for the aquatics department. We welcome certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in becoming lifeguards (we will certify you if you qualify) and candidates with open availability. Responsibilities

The lifeguard will be responsible for the safety of members and program participants in the aquatics department.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 15 years
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
• Current American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification (or willingness to be trained if basic swim requirements are met)
• Oxygen Administration (O2) certification preferred but not required

Pay

Pay range: $15‑$17 per hour.
