About the Role
Alpine Country Club in Highland, UT is seeking a driven Lifeguard to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute and grow within a fast-paced, hospitality-focused property organization as part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and observe swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
- Administer first aid for minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises.
- Maintain cleanliness of changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers.
- Assist in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons for members as directed by the department manager.
- Enforce rules of conduct and perform pool maintenance, including checking chemicals and vacuuming.
- Check first aid supplies and report needed items to management.
- Organize and monitor pool games; suggest poolside activities.
- Skim debris from the pool surface, empty automatic skimmers, and prepare the pool for daily use.
- Clean and organize the pool area at the end of the day.
- Maintain all necessary records as determined by the department manager.
- Incorporate safe work practices in all job performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of lifeguarding experience.
- CPR, First Aid Certification, and various Water Safety/Instructor Certifications required.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.
