About the role

As a Lifeguard at the Findlay Recreation Center, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for members and guests of all ages. More than just monitoring the pool, you'll be part of a team dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and community engagement while developing valuable leadership, communication, and emergency response skills. Whether you're assisting swimmers, responding to situations with confidence, or helping create a positive experience for families, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day in a state-of-the-art community facility.

This position is responsible to monitor pool activity and facilitate safe and appropriate pool practices, to rescue/assist those in need and provide instruction to participants, to maintain a clean pool environment. Team participation and member interaction are also included.
