Location: The Beach Club, 10200 Gainsborough Rd, Potomac, MD 20854

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, seasonal (immediate start through Labor Day)

About the role

Tennis Central is looking for reliable and responsible Lifeguards to join our team at The Beach Club in Potomac, MD for the remainder of the summer season. Flexible scheduling is available depending on your availability.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor the pool and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of all members and guests
• Enforce pool rules in a professional and friendly manner
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies
• Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pool environment
• Check the pool area before, during, and after shifts for potential safety concerns
• Communicate professionally with members, families, children, and other staff
• Work closely with the Tennis Central and Beach Club teams to provide a safe and positive experience for everyone at the facility

Requirements

• Current Lifeguard Certification required
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
• Strong swimming ability
• Responsible, attentive, and dependable
• Comfortable working independently and maintaining constant awareness of the pool area
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be available for at least some shifts through Labor Day

Schedule

We are currently hiring for the remainder of the summer through Labor Day. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, and we are happy to work around other commitments when possible.
