About the role

Leidos is seeking a self-motivated Lifecycle Support Specialist to join a high-performing Agile team using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology. This position supports a large, fast-paced program that provides system engineering, development, test, integration, and operational support to a complex hardware/software system.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hardware and software control, tracking, and management support.
  • Research and update hardware maintenance, software support, and license information, and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Research and update lifecycle information for hardware and software, including End of Life, End of Life Support, and End of Sale status.
  • Generate reports or provide data to support technical team requests.
  • Support continuous process improvement and validation of data within the Hardware and Software Data Management System.
  • Provide back-up support for the Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) report.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 8 years of government purchasing, data management, hardware/software management, and quality control experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in several of the following areas: hands-on experience performing data management and maintenance support for large scale systems, experience with software licenses and support, experience with hardware warranties and maintenance, government Hardware/Software purchasing experience, experience working directly with technical teams to gather and document information related to the lifecycle of hardware equipment and software.
  • Detail-oriented, able to handle time-sensitive tasking in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, self-motivated and proactive, diligent, thorough, and willing to research and troubleshoot until a problem is resolved, positive attitude, excellent people skills.
  • Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Must have at least 8 years of government purchasing, data management, hardware/software management, and quality control experience.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in several of the following areas: hands-on experience performing data management and maintenance support for large scale systems, experience with software licenses and support, experience with hardware warranties and maintenance, government Hardware/Software purchasing experience, experience working directly with technical teams to gather and document information related to the lifecycle of hardware equipment and software.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to handle time-sensitive tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and proactive in order to independently and effectively plan and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be diligent, thorough, and willing to research and troubleshoot until a problem is resolved.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and excellent people skills.
  • Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Skills

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Hands-on System Administration/help desk experience related to hardware and software maintenance.
  • Extensive, formal Quality Assurance or Configuration Management experience on a large technical system.
  • Experience establishing, documenting, and implementing processes and process improvements.
  • Experience working with financial data.

Pay

Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00
