Life Underwriter
What Will You Do?
As a Life Underwriter you will review and evaluate applications for life and disability income insurance. As part of the evaluation process, you will assess medical and financial information about the applicant using underwriting guidelines. You will communicate with medical facilities, doctors, sales representatives and others, as needed, to complete the underwriting analysis.
Additional Qualifications Needed
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- Medical terminology, preferred
- Strong Analytical skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Pay Range
Pay Range is $72,900 - $98,700. Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc.
