About the role

Jersey College seeks to hire an Adjunct Ethics Instructor to join our dedicated team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education and a passion for teaching ethics to future healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
• Attending faculty meetings
• Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
• Performing other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school
• Master degree is preferred
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required
