About the Role

Jersey College is seeking passionate educators to join our Nursing Program. We are looking for individuals dedicated to teaching and committed to the success of their students, with a focus on excellence and innovation in nursing education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare student progress reports and grade reports
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance records
• Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
• Implement evaluation devices for student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
• Attend faculty meetings
• Maintain professional qualifications through continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
• Supervise students in the clinical environment
• Deliver effective lessons tailored to RN or PN students
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school (required)
• Master’s degree (preferred)
• Prior teaching experience (preferred but not required)
