About the Role
As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and companionship to individuals, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity. This rewarding role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene
- Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Provide wheelchair assistance and ensure safe mobility
- Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Help maintain the safety and well-being of each individual served
- Use proper lifting and body mechanics to safely assist clients
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6 months – 1 year of caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required
- Valid, non-probationary driver’s license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting others
- Ability to safely bend, lift, and assist individuals with mobility
- Provide proof of a valid driver’s license (non-probationary for at least 1 year)
- Ability to attend paid orientation and commit to training
Pay
Starting Pay: $16.25/hour
- Additional $0.50/hour for 1–4 years of experience
- Additional $1.00/hour for 5+ years of experience
Schedule
- Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
- Most schedules include at least one weekend shift
