Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and hygiene
- Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Provide wheelchair assistance and ensure safe mobility
- Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Help maintain the safety and well-being of each individual served
- Use proper lifting and body mechanics to safely assist clients
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- 6 months – 1 year of caregiving or human services experience (preferred but not required)
- A valid, non-probationary driver’s license held for at least 1 year with no restrictions
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check
- Possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping others
Preliminary Requirements
- Provide proof of a valid driver’s license (non-probationary for at least 1 year)
- Ability to attend paid orientation and commit to training
