Life Skills Counselor (QMHP)

About the role

As a Life Skills Counselor (Qualified Mental Health Professional - QMHP-T or QMHP), you will provide direct, in-home and community-based mental health skill-building services to adults with serious mental illness. You’ll focus on enhancing daily living, social, and coping skills to help clients achieve and maintain independence in the community. You will work with clients individually, tailoring interventions to meet their needs and service goals outlined in treatment plans, and provide psychoeducation to empower clients and support their personal goals. You will also maintain accurate documentation using our streamlined tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation using streamlined tools.

Requirements

• QMHP or QMHP-Trainee with the Board of Counseling.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Driver’s license with 1+ years of driving experience.

Pay

Competitive base pay of $22-$25 per hour.
