As a Life Safety Systems/Fire Alarm CA Engineer, you will play a vital role in advancing life safety and fire protection systems—from concept development to on-site construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination and ensure code compliance.
• Deliver high-quality designs tailored to client needs.
• Travel up to 25% to project sites across Texas, providing field support including punch walks, testing, and design review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years experience with Fire Alarm Systems, including VESDA products, and relevant manufacturers such as Notifier, Edwards, and Xtralis.
• Proficiency in applying NFPA 72, NFPA 101, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 75, NFPA 76, NFPA 2001, and NFPA 13 codes.
• Hands‑on experience installing, inspecting, or testing fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of project management, estimating, and scheduling for mid‑to‑large‑scale projects.
• Autodesk Revit design experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Data center design experience and mentoring abilities are a plus.
