Responsibilities

• Help residents get ready for the day so they can fully participate in their quality of life.
• Provide assistance with ADLs or other recreational activities as a C.N.A.
• Assist residents navigate iPads to find new apps or games to master.
• Help residents read letters from loved ones or create birthday cards to send to family.
• Work in the sports (non-alcoholic) bar making Shirley Temples and Roy Rogers or watch championship games on ESPN.
• Create adaptive ways for residents to enjoy painting, knitting, stenciling, or woodworking.
• Assist residents with online shopping or searching for “games to play on a rainy day”.
• Build relationships with residents and team members while gaining healthcare experience.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (paid training available if not yet certified).
• Pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must not have any condition or limitation that could pose a direct threat to self or others unless reasonable accommodation can eliminate the threat.
• Ability to pass a fitness assessment designated for this job title and perform all physical activities related to the position.
• Regular attendance is an essential job function.
