Position Overview

A successful State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Life Insurance Position - State Farm Agent Team Member. The role involves providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, using a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options, working with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, and developing leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and marketing appropriate products and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Enthusiasm for the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
• Self-motivation
• Pride in getting work done accurately and timely
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to make presentations to potential customers
• Achieve mutually agreed upon marketing goals
• Experience in marketing
• Property and Casualty license (must have currently)

Compensation

$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
