Life Enrichment Coordinator - Independent Living (Events and Activities Planner/Presenter)

We are seeking a Full-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and lead activities that bring excitement, purpose, and joy to our Independent Living residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and facilitate daily programs, social events, classes, and excursions that promote wellness across all dimensions — physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual.
• Encourage participation and foster community engagement among residents.
• Coordinate special events, intergenerational programs, and outings.
• Partner with Dining Services and other departments for community celebrations and theme events.
• Document attendance, participation, and feedback to continuously improve programming.
• Assist with recruitment of volunteers and outside entertainment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or coursework in recreation, hospitality, or human services preferred.
• Experience planning and leading activities in a senior living, hospitality, or recreational setting.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Food handler’s certification per state requirements (or willingness to obtain).

Pay and Schedule

This is a Full-Time position with a schedule that includes weekend and holiday rotation, and a pay rate of $17.70-19.90/hour based on experience.
