About the role
As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will plan activities, exercise programs, events, and outings for all residents. You will maintain confidentiality, motivate resident involvement, report issues to the Activities Director or charge nurse, and handle administrative tasks. This role requires routine decision-making with minimal judgment and a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Plan activities, exercise programs, events, and outings for all residents
- Maintain the confidentiality of all personnel and medical file information
- Motivate and encourage resident involvement in activities
- Report any problems with residents, family, caregivers, or staff to the Activities Director or charge nurse
- Perform administrative requirements and submit to Activities Director
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (desirable)
- Previous experience working at an Assisted Living community (a plus)
- Must be organized and self-motivated
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, residents, and family members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid Driver’s License
