Life Enrichment Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a creative and compassionate individual to join our talented team as a Life Enrichment/Activities Coordinator for our Memory Care at Touchmark on West Century. The ideal candidate will have minimum one year of experience working in senior living, including experience with memory care residents. Availability to work at least one weekend day per week is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, creation, and implementation of an activities program that meets the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of our residents.
• Encourage and motivate others through daily interactions and activities.
• Exercise leadership skills to positively influence the lives of residents and their families.
• Arrange, organize, and assist with activities both on and off campus, such as holiday and birthday celebrations, social events, community outings, and exercise programs.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of activities.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience working in senior living.
• Experience working with a social or recreational activities program.
• Experience working with memory care residents.
• Availability to work at least one weekend day per week.
• A genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
• A commitment to confidentiality concerning resident status and medical history.
• Able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.

Schedule

Full-time Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
