Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning monthly activity calendar, which provides purposeful activities, suited to the resident’s needs and interests.
- Responsible for planning, preparing, and implementation of activities of unit assigned.
- Collaborate with residents on one on one program, provide visits, and document interaction as required.
- Provides hostess service at noon meal in the main dining room when assigned.
- Encourages Residents to participate in all manner of activities, transport residents to and from events.
- Operate Fleet Landing vehicles if authorized for trips and outings and accompany resident on facility outings.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Required: High school diploma or College degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year in social, recreational, or dependent care environment.
- Experience working with dementia and Alzheimer patients a plus, working with groups of seniors, and driving seniors experience necessary.
