Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this community.
- Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement to evaluate facility activities and resident progress.
- Involve the resident and family in planning activity programs when possible.
- Facilitate planned activities in a retirement community for both assisted living and memory care units, including leading exercise classes, sing-alongs, brain power activities, sports, art classes, and reading.
Requirements
- Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure, and be a self-starter.
- Possess a Food Handlers Permit.
- Able to move at least 50 pounds, including tables and chairs on a regular basis.
Notes
